The short version, in writing.

Zolodek is a web application for tracking projects, tasks, clients, quotes, invoices, expenses, notes, files, and related work for freelancers and small studios. We offer a free personal tier and one or more paid tiers.

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including the actions of any teammate you invite. Keep your password to yourself and use a strong one. Tell us right away at legal@zolodek.app if you think your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and you must not sign up on behalf of anyone else without their permission.

You keep ownership of everything you put into Zolodek, from client records to the contents of your vault. You give us the limited licence we need to host, back up, and display that content to you and the people you invite. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.

You are responsible for having the right to store the content you upload, and for making sure it does not break the law or a promise you made to a client. If you feel a piece of content on the Service infringes your rights, email us and we will investigate.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break a law or someone else’s rights.
• Send unlawful, harassing, or knowingly false content.
• Try to reverse-engineer the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission, or interfere with other people’s use of it.
• Use the Service to send bulk unsolicited email, run a botnet, or host malware.
• Resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.

If we believe your use crosses one of these lines, we may suspend or close your account. We will try to warn you first, but urgent situations may not leave time.

Paid tiers are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel. You authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal. If a charge fails we will retry, and if we cannot collect, your workspace will move to the free tier until payment resumes.

Prices are shown at checkout in your billing region and may include taxes handled by Stripe Tax. You can cancel from Settings at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; we do not refund the current period unless the law says we must.

The Zolo assistant, receipt scanning, and other AI features are off by default. When you enable them, prompts and the relevant workspace data are sent to our model provider via the Vercel AI Gateway to generate a response. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before you act on it. Do not paste anything into an AI feature that you would not be comfortable sending through a third-party API.

We try hard to keep the Service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and the occasional bug will happen. We will communicate about significant incidents in the app or by email.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred euros if you use the Service for free. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can terminate or suspend your account if you materially break these terms. When your account closes, we delete workspace content according to the timelines in our Privacy Policy. Sections meant to survive termination (billing owed, disclaimers, liability limits) do so.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you accept the new terms. If not, close your account and we will part on good terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence to the extent required by consumer-protection rules there, and otherwise by the laws applicable at our principal place of business. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that place, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under local law.
